The Sunday Voice

(A lone voice whispers)

In this grey shade of semi-darkness

I've sat down by the IPFT and looked again down through time

Past all the fast-moving images and those sad heartbreaking ones

Portraying illnesses

Lit a white Dominion protection magic candle and pondered

Is she with another I just can't see

Someone else's older or younger brother

That soulmate who once professed and confessed

She was only mine

Would she still love me beyond all she feared

If I could somehow suddenly appear

Would her sweet kisses taste the same as before

When we first met and I told her my sacred name

As I stood at her front door

But would she forget me this time when she got home

Delete my old number on her phone

I know she's a siren

Lord

A beautiful beacon

A light in the dark who all fall to their knees

Whenever she calls

Is that why I'm cursed by the green shards of Belazor

In this grey shade of semi-darkness

As I embrace my own form of crucifixion

Charged to look down through time forever

And tasked by Malachi

To always light a white Dominion magic protection candle

From the sacred box of self-introspection

And ponder

Is she with another that has my reflection

Who looks like me

Someone else's younger or older brother

Now I've died and can only use the IPFT

To see

Zamomotrom Speaks

Press play before reading. Salute.

(A lone voice whispers)

My name is translated as the summoner of all crows

Zamomotrom

The keeper of old pagan secrets and all things known

I hide here in the middle of Megargorsa

Just beyond the Mars orbit

And send out from my hidden castles and keeps

My flocks to find the chosen few

To come to me

Before they can join St Peters's many long queues

For my flocks shall carry them over land and sea

To my portal in The Great In-Between

Where I'll welcome them in

With open arms

Into a new sense of well being

I'll give them a stunning black and white room

Filled with so many playthings

They'll never want to leave

In one of my many Palaces

Already filled with lost souls

So they too can wander around

Grieving

Screaming

Pining and smiling

While all the time addicted like their old itch

Facebook or Twitter and peeking at their obsolete life

Through my many Scrying Mirrors

For killers

Saints

Singers

Losers and winners

All those who passed through my golden gates and red pillars

Particularly the beginners

I take them all

Atom by atom

While they get soul drunk on their sorrow after they respond

When they hear my call

For I am Zamomotrom

The father and mother of all things

Living under my Black Sun

So be it

Salvadoran Dreams

  Press play before reading. Salute.

(A lone voice whispers)

I can still remember a time

I spent with my old love called Miss Sloane

Where my only crime

Was to love her

All the time

Like a queen sat on a golden throne

For she was my life's majestic keystone

Well those happier days have gone by

Starting in 98

In late July

When I died

And she gathered with a few others

Including my father and mother

Sisters and brothers

To say their heartfelt goodbyes

Now I just need someone special like Miss Sloane

To hear my early morning prayers

For in here

The land of no air

Heartbreak follows you

Like a second shadow

A thief in the dark night everywhere

From sad tears filled with memories of your one and only

To stories to remind you why you're still lonely

And why you spend long nights crying inside

Feeling lost and abandoned on your own

To cursing a new day that always ends in another time zone

The doorway to here only opened

When you hear the call of the Golden Trombone

To be then be tasked in writing booths

To remembering when your only crime

Was to love someone so special

All as time flew by

After they all gathered at your wake

As that magical doorway opened up

And you had to say your heartfelt goodbyes

When you suddenly heard the call of the Golden Trombone

That summoned your soul home

Channelling Music From Sheol

Press play before reading

 Salute.

(A lone voice sings in Country, from the Deep Country)

She wears pain like a gold and diamond broach

Flashes her blues eyes

With a hard message that reads

Do not approach

For she's a Southern Fire Country girl

A Southen Fire Country girl who's always in control

A Southen Country girl with a beautiful soul

A fire country girl now living it up in Sheol

Wearing her pain like a cheap gold and diamond broach

Flashing her blues eyes

With a soft message that reads

Wanna take me home

For she's a Southern Fire country girl

A Southern Fire Country girl who's always in control

A Southern girl with a beautiful soul

A Southen Fire Country girl now on parole

Living it up in here forever

In good old Sheol

A rather strange set of lyrics but they were so persistent.

I've been so compelled to revisit and restructure a couple of lines.

And some say it's a blessing to have such a gift.

Would you like to hear voices whisper constantly, to your inner mind, in the low hours?

Send me your thoughts and I'm sure I'll pick them up. Salute.

The Ballad of the Grieving Man

Press play before reading. Salute.

(A lone heartbroken voice sings)

I never knew someday yesterday

Would be our last day together

Or that I'd have to say

Goodbye today

Standing by your grave in this falling rain

To the only love, I truly treasured

So now I just feel cold and always awake

In total pain

After being told

You gained your angel wings

One day at night

And now live

Where the Holy Choirs sing

And no longer

Need to fight

Some say God only takes the best

Leaving the rest to suffer in silence

As part of his holy test

But I'm so jealous of his servant

Mister Death

For he gets to see you forever

Which started on the tenth

And I still can't believe

You're gone

Can't sleep

Only greave

For there will never be another angel like you

For to love another would be too painful

Whatever I do

Just know wherever you are

Your deep love will still always live on

Deep inside

Wherever I go like it's my lifes only decree

Before I'm too recalled

For in a cruel world where all our heroes fall

You were once

My one and all

Who tried to help me stand tall

So starting today forever on the tenth

I'll always be so jealous of Mister Death

For he gets to see you forever

In all weathers

For God only takes the best

Leaving the rest to suffer in silence

As part of his holy test

And until we meet again

All I can now do

My Guardian Angel

Is eat this pain

Whenever I try to remember you and your name

Through these painful tears

As it forever rains deep inside as time flies by

Grief is, unfortunately, a tragic part of life.

I wrote this as I reflected on a friend, gaining her angel wings.

The Voice at Midnight. Speaks.

Press play before reading. Salute.

(A lone voice whispers)

It's a strange thing, human emotions

They creep up like thieves in this endless night sky
Memories whispering to me like a loving stranger

For in deep moments of reflective solitude
I still think of her

Will she ever think and silently,
Whisper back to me

As I remember her in here
By the sacred Chislak Mountains

A warrior princess
I once saved and who for a short while once stayed

Every night and
Especially
In the early
Morning breeze

And just over there as the twinkling midnight stars
Bid their heartfelt goodbyes

Within your blazing passionate dark eyes
As you hear or read this

I hope I’ll live on
And always once more come alive

To continuously
Remind you of
How happy
We used to be

The beloved memories

Poetic stories and all
The goofy crazy laughter

So much happiness
And joy

To echo from now into here
The Hereafter

All caught in all the many old
Photographs of me

You may still treasure and see

My sacred one named Tazanna

I may now dance in here around the firestones
Amongst long lost galaxies

Or unknown faraway stars

But whenever you think of me

I'll always appear
I hope

Like a soft feeling

A subtle gust of wind
Or a white feather

A familiar yell or sensation

Wherever you are
Across this earth

Or simply hidden
Within any great nation

I may be now
Part of the
Unknown In-Between realms

But my love for you

Will simply last
Forever

From this life to the next

For we were once
Baptized somewhere ethereal by unknown angels to be
Together

For we are eternal

And one day by the Holy River
We will be reunited

For now, I know and feel your aura
My twin soulmate called Tazanna

And all I can do is wait and cry a praise of adoration
To The Almighty and shout Hosanna

For next to the Silver City

We will be reunited
So I'm told in spirit

For this life is simply a re-introduction

A sometimes cruel rehearsal
And unknown to each other

We were once simply wondering
Lost

Like so many others
In the Burning Circles of the Paranormal

Before we all enter a new place

Where there are hopefully
No more painful hurdles

Maximillian. The Man By The Shimmering Lake. Talks.

Press play before reading. Salute.

(A lone voice whispers)

Lost in these unlit creepy dark woods

Past the moonlit Shimmering Lake

 Standing here as I speak

This despair I always feel which makes me weak

Tells me love is a thing that is so real

It's all I now know as I stand awake

In this new state

For the dead don't sleep or weep

And when the mysterious singers in this darkness

Call out to me with sweet mesmerizing voices

Each filled with such inescapable power

My pain slowly rises in my soul

Hour by hour

As I'm watched by the Nixs

Standing in crooked lines

On the crumbling translucent walls of The Great Watchtower

Strange creatures dressed in blue

Who just love to send me Raven notes that simply say

Come to us to renew

The Diamond Door is always open

Be one of the Nixs

Follow our ways

To find the new you

Come climb The Great Watchtower walls

To drink deep from our wish-fed fountain and see past all the Black Mountains

No longer filled with urges to fight for love and light

But to become a lone Watchman of the Endless Night

They are so relentless

Always looking for new apprentices

Raven after Raven bringing notes every second

They send

Now as I stand here at the end

Sending this out

Surrounded by the mountains of parchments they have sent

Hoping I'll relent

I reckon I'll play my part

To be the titled hero in this cosmic show

This work of art

While this crushing dusk and silver snow

Lovingly shatters my broken heart

For what the Nixs don't realize

That crisp wide smile that I always wear

The one I flash

The one they all see through their obsidian scrying glass

By candlelight

As their hungry eyes follow me everywhere

That ripe smile is barren

The real one is still somewhere

Out there

Still, I hope

Being carried around in beautiful blue eyes as her time flies

Why should I carry a real smile?

For in here

The living

Beyond the Silver Barrier

Can't hear your soul screaming

Or when through razor loaded invisible tears

You suddenly start laughing

For the pain you feel is so loaded with bottomless fear

Oh, how I wish I could still be there

With you

Away from the Nixs and Dark Angels

For it's so painful

I used to think I was strong

But these endless dark nights are so long

Is today the day I will wonder

If I'm wrong to fight the Nixs many invitations

And go along to the Diamond Door

Beneath The Great Watchtower

And knock

Asking to join their mix

For nobody in The Great In-Between

Knows I still miss you

For this swirling grey air and spooky fog makes you overlook your past life

And in time

Causes parts of your mind to speak only in rhymes and once it starts

The forgetting begins

The Dissolution of the Flesh they call it

Its why they think I need setting free

By sending midnight Ravens every hour to me

To be like one of them

The Nixs

Guardians of The Great In-Between

Bounded to a sacred oath to stand as Watchmen on The Great Watchtower

For all eternity

Emotionally empty husks

Who surrendered to a form of self-accepting bondage

To watching the ever-shifting skies at dusk

For the dark ones called The Flominous

But I feel like I'm bound by a great chain

Connected only to you

Never to make a sacred oath to another but to kneel every night and pray for a resurrection of us

I may be trapped in this ever-evolving mystery

Of my own love life's history

Where nobody knows I'll always need you

But me

The Nix have just sent a new Raven note over

So I must be quick before their Baltise Drums start beating

Sending them all into a crazy chanting frenzy

It says I can't survive in here

On my own

I'll just cast it on the great pile as they watch

For what they do not know

My soul may be crying inside now I'm alone

In this

The Spiritually Demilitarized Halfway Zone

Mislaid in the Realms of The Great Unknown

But my love for you will continue to grow

Day by day

Minute by minute until you too come home

To embrace me once more

Like the last time, I saw you in San Francisco

So we can go walk past the red lampost on the edge of the Shimmering Lake

To then walk hand in hand

Through Heavens Silver Gates to everlasting happiness

It's a dream I just try to cling onto in this darkness

Attempting not to forget but the rhyming has started

But I'm still here

Still resisting the hunger to knock on that Diamond Door

To be tempted to stand on the Great Watchtowers parapets

Forever in the void

I know I'm now one of the misplaced but thinking of you

Gives me hope

My beloved Lucy to cope

Lost in here

Somewhere uncharted in the Grey Grounds beyond yours

In The Great In-Between

Where I now exist amongst the Nix and so many others

Unseen

A lone voice whispers

 Press play before reading. Salute.

Now my life's great party's over and this Black Hole

I now live within

Ruled over by Father Sin

Which just loves to breathe me in and out

Like the silver flutes once did

When I used to walk by and watch the marching Bands of Manhattan play

As the Majorettes twirled their shiny batons

Oh, what I wouldn’t give in this loud sound of silence

To quieten this pain that still hurts the most

Even though I'm now just another lonely ghost

My cherished memories of you will always be my Immortal Home as I wait in here to atone

I used to pray that I'd wake up free from this asylum

In the warm arms of my beloved but now lost Angel

But no matter how hard the memories or even how painful

I'll keep it as a happy place filled with all her love and photographs

So, I just wait here

In a hidden place found on no handwritten or drawn maps

Somewhere

As I flutter my white flag of defeat

In the cold and hot heat of The Great In-Between

Lingering by these bright lights like I was walking on the Moon

Kicking up broken white stones

Singing sad songs for the hordes

Standing in the creepy shadows

Watching me crying like a wounded King

Come Back

Don’t fear you won't fall

They all chant as the Golden Bell rings

The Crying Game needs feeding

The eleven-inch nails need pulling out to stop the bleeding

Stay with us

The Nameless Things

We who whisper and sing in the Dark all around you

 But all by myself

I'll try to stay alive

Somehow

They can keep their Poison and Red Wine

 Their Civil Wars

Where even gravity falls

Either way

Here is my lone call

You’ll always be my reason

My every time

No matter the seasons

For all my rivers of memories and worn-out roads

My heavy head and weary heart

Always lead me

Riding in paper boats

Back to you

 In this mad mad world

Even though now everything has fallen apart

Just like us two

Just a pair of Father Times many heartbroken sweethearts
