Renewal

 Blessed be.

Velumbound.

Here's a moving reflection on grief, transition, and renewal as the hidden speaker navigates the boundary between an old year and a new one.

It captures the tension between holding onto lonely memories and finding the courage to move forward.

(A lone voice whispers)

So I can feel you still here

Walking slowly with me into a new year

As the old year bows and blows a golden trumpet of

Who knows

Like a wind that catches fire

As the minutes and seconds

Quick step and retire

I know old promises will be hard to let go

As the golden trumpet blows

Of secret things of dreams you said to yourself

But let's start anew

Me and you

Let's walk together into a new year

Filled with no fear

As the old year bows and blows a golden trumpet of

Who knows

Like a wind that catches fire

As the minutes and seconds

Quick step and retire

Are you feeling lost?

Blessed be.

Velumbound.

A new transmission which functions like a guided meditation or a spiritual reassurance.

It speaks directly to someone, maybe you, experiencing an existential crisis, heavy shame, or emotional pain.

By shifting the perspective from "I am lost in the dark" to "I am resting in a sacred, living space surrounded by family."

The transmission transforms fear into a profound opportunity for a fresh start.

This poetic transmission is a comforting, mystical reflection on identity, existential wandering, and ancestral connection.

It reframes moments of feeling lost not as a failure, but as a necessary pause within a spiritual landscape called "The Great In-Between."

Shall we begin?

(A lone voice whispers)

Take a deep breath and hold still.

The Great In-Between is always beside you and tries to influence your will.

For you are always walking within its dark forests

Filled with burning bushes and trees of free will

You may sometimes feel lost, but you're not

Wherever you are

You are surrounded by ancestors, not only strangers

Who only seek your divine permission to be known

For The Great In-Between breathes.

Listens.

And answers,

It whispers

I have made this sacred place for you.

You need to find it before you leave

Before you come back to hide like so many others

Ancestors and strangers behind the burning trees

Bushes and smoky grey leaves

For no burning bush or trees are the same

For they offer so much for you to begin again

No matter your shame, if you are in pain

So pause and stand still.

Amongst your burning trees and bushes of free will

The Great In-Between knows your name

Knows where you are.

You just must let it find you.

So you can begin again

Did Kurt step into the spotlight?

A track that serves as an homage to the late Nirvana frontman, incorporating themes and lyrical references inspired by his life and iconic discography.

And tragic story.

Are you spellbound?

Blessed be.

Velumbound.

This transmission is a Gothic, sensual prose that explores the seductive and intoxicating threshold between creative obsession, erotic intimacy, and dark ritualism.

Where the act of reading and writing is portrayed as an intense, hypnotic encounter.

The phrases "swept up in these mesmerising lines" and "illuminated prose whispers still" frame the text itself as a living, seductive force that holds power over the reader.

While the Cycle of Day and Night acts as a boundary between the mundane, exposed world and a shadowy, private realm.

Since Sunlight offers a momentary gasp for air ("come up for air", "replenish your naked soul"), yet true attraction awakens when night returns ("When the setting Sun sets").

As a subtle complicity in "Sin" shifts from author/reader or lover/stranger to fellow conspirators ("when a sinner meets another").

The connection is not based on moral purity, but on mutual recognition of taboo, vulnerability, or moral deviation.

The need for more Ritual & Power Dynamics.

As the closing lines move the dynamic into mysticism ("secret initiation", "occult spell").

When a secret connection becomes a mutual trance where the gaze ("a look into the eyes") seals the speaker's total emotional or psychological temptations.

But be careful as you accelerate the pace toward the end to mimic the hypnotic effect of this incantation.

As the transmission moves through a clear psychological arc of:

 1. Disorientation: Awakening from the previous night's trance.

 2. Temptation: The direct provocation ("Hey, stranger / Do you want more").

 3. Capture: The final assertion of mystical seduction.

Shall we begin again?

(A lone voice whispers)

Are you there

Swept up in these mesmerising lines until the curtains stop holding the sun

Back

So you can come up for air

And let the bright light replenish your naked soul

As my illuminated prose whispers still from the night before

Hey, stranger

Do you want more

When the setting Sun sets

For there is something deeper when a sinner meets another

And a secret initiation begins that only a look into the eyes can tell

That you've fallen under my occult spell

Need some faith inspiration?

 I rather love this transmission.

A timeless contemporary spiritual song that explores themes of guidance, divine presence, and comfort.

Do the lyrics draw heavy inspiration from Psalm 23, depicting a "shepherd from Jerusalem" who remains with the narrator through all life's challenges?

Of course.

Press play and enjoy.

Salute.

The Labyrinth of Memory and Self-Reconciliation

Blessed be.

Velumbound.

A new transmission.

They come every night for your eyes only.

Looking back in reflection, 2014 seems so long ago as I revisit old campfires.

Let us begin.

This transmission captures a universal human truth about memory, grief, and self-actualisation.

Introduction to The Labyrinth of Memory and Self-Reconciliation

"Everywhere you go, retrace those steps... for reconciliation of the soul will always help you grow."

This evocative transmission serves as a profound psychological map of the human journey, exploring the complex architecture of memory, grief, and personal transformation.

At its core, the piece addresses the universal human necessity of looking backwards in order to move forward.

Whispered from a deeply introspective perspective, it captures the lifelong process of identity formation.

Not as a straight, untroubled path, but as a winding trek marked by inner struggles, reinvention, and the quiet endurance of loss.

The transmission skillfully tries to balance the haunting nature of memory with its ultimate capacity to heal, utilising three central thematic pillars:

The Labyrinth of the Subconscious:

By framing the mind as a "hidden labyrinth," the poem honours the complexity of the human interior world.

The "milestones lit by slow fires" represent pivotal moments of transition.

Phases of life that are "empty in real time" but vividly alive in our quietest, most vulnerable moments.

The Collective Spirit and Shared Grief:

No human journeys alone.

The transmission introduces the concept of a "spirit tribe" and acknowledges the "voices of fallen friends."

This addresses a fundamental human truth:

We are built by the people we have lost.

The grief of those who "will never be there physically at your end" is not presented as a weakness, but as a vital part of the traveller's emotional foundation.

Reconciliation as Empowerment:

The transmission's climax shifts from haunting nostalgia to a triumphant reclamation of agency.

It reframes the act of remembering even in the darkest hours.

As a "God-given power."

Ultimately, this piece serves as an invitation to the reader to stop fleeing their past.

It posits that true emotional maturity and spiritual growth require a fearless integration of both our triumphs and our tragedies.

To retrace our steps and embrace our ghosts is not an act of regression;

It is the ultimate act of self-reconciliation.

(A lone voice whispers)

Have you looked through the many different lives you have lived?

And seen how you've changed.

From inner struggles to be reborn again.

Have you looked behind

And embraced all that called out that you could find

Deep within the hidden labyrinth of your mind

All those milestones lit by slow fires from old abandoned camp-sites

Now empty in real time but full at night

As old ghosts reappear to play as you wander into sight

Your spirit tribe who helped build all you are

As you walked so far

Have you heard in that rising wind

Voices of fallen friends

Those who fell along the way

And will never be there physically at your end

Yet here's something you may need to know

Everywhere you go

"Every milestone or campfire on that road

Every face appearing at night

Even in your darkest hour

Retrace those steps

Embrace that God-given power

Remember the good times and the bad

For reconciliation of the soul will always help you grow"

Have you thought about existentialism

A reflection on an existential meditation on human vulnerability, effort, and mortality.

(A lone voice whispers)

In the middle of it all

All we can do is try

Before we are recalled

Existentialism is a 20th-century philosophical movement centred on the idea that humans are entirely free and responsible for creating their own meaning and purpose in a chaotic world.

Do you remember your first slow dance?

I created:

"Turn the Lights Down Low" as a romantic, soul-inspired old-school track.

The lyrics focus on a couple creating an intimate atmosphere for a slow dance, encouraging each other to live in the moment and embrace their love.

Do this current generation even know what slow dancing is?

If you know, you know.

Salute.

Are your wedding vows still intact?

I created:

The Wedding Vows"  as a romantic musical composition that serves as an artistic expression of commitment and deep partnership.

The lyrics emphasise moving beyond superficial symbols of marriage, such as a "ring of gold," to instead focus on a profound, soulful, and spiritual connection between two people.

When you got married, when you reflect.

Are your wedding vows still intact?

Salute.

As the world seems to fall, maybe it's time we all stood tall.

I created:

"What's Going On" as a soulful, reflective song that addresses themes of social unrest, human suffering, and the need for unity and truth.

The song concludes with a hopeful plea for strength and peace, encouraging a collective effort to "make a way"  for change starting today.

As the world seems to fall, maybe it's time we all stood tall.

Salute.
