Life

Every day, I die inside

Quietly

Hiding what I feel

As my alter

Takes control of my mind's

Steering wheel

Foundation of the piece.

Does the days and years seem to drift

As the real you

Hides

Alone

Lost within the mind's mists?

From relationships to work.

Are modern relationships just driven and maintained by endless mundane repetition?
