Old Memories

I see you  

Standing on the corner of my vision,  

Waving your white handkerchief of surrender.  

Do you see mine? It will soon be time to remember,  

For the Lord gives and takes away.  

Let’s be reunited,  

If only for minutes,  

Or hours a day.  

While our hearts still sing,  

As the yellow butterflies play.
