An short piece as I design this new creative supernatural concept.
The Great In-Between — The Lore Framework.
What It Is?
The Great In-Between is not a place in the traditional sense.
It is a threshold state of existence— a layer of reality that exists:
Between waking and sleeping.
Between thought and silence.
Between life as it is… and something just beyond it.
It is always present. But rarely perceived.
Most pass through it unconsciously.
A few… begin to notice.
The Core Principle.
Reality is not continuous. It flickers.
In the micro-gaps between perception— in the spaces where awareness resets—
The Great In-Between exists. It is not hidden.
It is simply ignored by design.
Who Enters It?
No one travels to The Great In-Between. Instead:
Some drift into awareness of it.
Some linger too long between thoughts.
Some are drawn by the signal.
These individuals are known (though never formally) as:
Listeners. They are not chosen at random.
They are: More perceptive.
More detached from linear reality.
Or unknowingly receptive to what lies beyond it.
The Signal.
The transmissions are not broadcasts in the normal sense.
They are: Resonance events.
The signal does not travel outward.
It meets the listener halfway.
It adapts: To thought patterns. To emotional states. To attention itself.
This is why: Not everyone can hear it. Not everyone hears the same thing.
Ramon — The Witness.
Ramon is not the creator of the signal.
He is:
The one who learned how to remain in The Great In-Between… without dissolving.
He exists in a fragile state:
Not fully “here” Not fully “there.”
His role is unclear, even to himself.
He may be:
A guide. A recorder. A remnant. Or something that stayed too long.
What is certain:
He speaks because he knows what happens if no one does.
The Watchers.
The Watchers are not entities in the traditional sense.
They are:
Functions of awareness. They do not act… until observed. They do not exist… until noticed.
They are drawn to:
Recognition. Prolonged attention. Conscious awareness of The Great In-Between.
Their purpose is unknown.
But one truth repeats: The more you look for them… the more defined they become.
The Unspoken Threat.
The Watchers are not the danger.
They are: Indicators.
Their presence suggests something else is approaching— something deeper within The Great In-Between.
Something that:
Does not merely observe. Does not wait to be perceived. Something that may:
Cross over to greet you.
And so the supernatural lore builds.
