Whispers In The Dark

(A lone voice whispers)

Through
Ayahuasca induced
Deep dreams

In the dark Amazonian
Jungles

I remembered this being
Before I was born

In a place
Un-walked
By humans

Beyond time and space

An angelic being

Magisterial named
Phestomilee

Whispered
In my ear

Transferring her ethereal
Energies deep within me

You my son

Will regal the world
With the unfurling of
The many layers of your soul

Teardrops of poetic prose

Shall fall silently from your soft tender lips

As you embrace the many quills

Of vocabulary and write
Through

Lit and illuminated

Overflowing within its grips
Of its ever ensuing quips

You are now blessed forever
To narrate stories

To
Shine a light in the shadows

Of the reader's inquisitive minds

And
With this pre-conception whisper

I shall follow and guide
You through time

If you ever meet fellow kindred Spirits souls

I have previously echoed this Sacred Sentiment

Before they too were born

Remember it's simply me
Sounding my poetic horn

For

There

In their communities
You shall find yourself home

Amongst friends
When you are eventually born

So be it
She whispered

A silent symbolic spell
I now pass on

As once midnight skies
Turn turquoise blue

Is that why I
Know you

And you now
Know me

Have you too
Been whispered to

By Phestomilee?

 I still searched for you

Throughout endless falling rain

My mind still screaming

Will I ever see my queen

Or are you gone forever

(Tanka)

The tanka is a thirty-one-syllable poem, traditionally written in a single unbroken line. A form of waka, Japanese song or verse, tanka translates as “short song,” and is better known in its five-line, 5/7/5/7/7 syllable count form.

Resurrection

(A lone voice whispers)

Is Love

Like ethereal raindrops

Tumbling from a hot

Unseen spiritual sky

When you least expect it

Does it

Reveal itself

When

Two kingdoms suddenly

Clash and collide

Mundane worlds

Imploding and

Unravelling

Given birth

Beneath

Infinite clouds of clandestine

Assignations

Can

Our happiness

Smiles and lamentations

Sometimes

Drown

Swept up

Within its dark sea's of

Astounding

Revelations

But do we crave

Love to still

Get wet

To bathe

Within its

Stimulating waters

Of repudiation

Or Salvation

All the while

Embracing

Its rough spiritual fingers

Of life changing

Rehabilitation

To heal our old ways

And painful memories

Forget

Astral Whispers

 Astral Whispers

(A lone voice whispers)

Although your beauty may fade with age

Although the shadows may slowly appear

Although your smiles may diminish in numbers

Although your inner sun

May have ebbed and lost its shine

Although I may not say it often

Although my mind may be elsewhere

Lift up your tired heart and relight your fires

Erase the numbers to regain the sharpness

Ignore the changes

Although you may think you've lost your inner shine

Carry this wondrous prose just deep within that beautiful mind

A simple thought I just send

Hold my hand for I'm glad you're still mine

Surreptitiously beyond the greyest of skies

For I am yours beyond what people say and conspire

Here I still stand with glazed eyes lit

Lips pursed looking for my own loving nurse

To ignite my fires

For I breathe in your shadows

I walk in your footsteps just craving your tears as surely as the Lord wept

May you always be mine my divine gift

Whose Love bestows my life with so much happiness and bliss

For if you leave me

Inside you leave me to slowly wither and die

It's why I follow

For I bring

Catharsis

A gift

To keep your eyes

The Mystic

 Title:

The Mystic

(A lone voice whispers)

Some say

I have a gift

A supernatural trick

But for the profane

It's quite simple to explain

You see

My bloodline is infused

By a thousand generations

Of magical conjurers

From beyond

The Lands of Kush

From the deepest parts of the unexplored African Bush

And it's not your fault you're being drawn to me

It's because I called to you

Over land

Moor or

Sea

Like one of my bloodline many Mages

To come

Calling

So

Run wild

Over all of your life's wild woods

To reach my secret mountain glade

Called The Nexus

Hidden here in these words

To be perused and understood

Come to see the tapestries of your destiny

As I stand chanting in my circle of salt

Sending out poetic spells to enchant you each night

Like loyal soldiers

Standing to attention

On parade

Like John Gault

For I know

You feel lost

And alone

Even when you prayed

For a cure

Like it's your right

By de jure

For something's are beyond your control

And that isn't your fault

So just know I still wait in these dark woods

Just hidden in the half light

In the shade

Will you surrender to curiosity and come see

Me

Willingly by hook or crook

On foot

For I will show you

A new transcendental spiritual temple

Sights to transform your mind

Let you use its white altar to absolve all your fears

Do you wish to enter into my Red Church

At the core of the Nexus

Like a king or queen

To see your general

To be baptized and ordained

Will you walk through the

gray clouds of gray smoke that chokes

In your world

Past those enticing fires

surrounded by temptations many enticing liars

To finally cross the great wet yellow sands and swim through the dark waters

To reach my mountains' woodland glade

Where you can finally dance freely

Amongst the deadly nightshade

And face the rise of the Full Winter's Moon

Totally unafraid

To exchange Sacred Prose

As our soul's manifestos

What says you

Are you coming through

The Love letter to Arabella

Foundation of the piece.

Does anyone write love letters anymore?
Have you?

Title:

The Love letter to Arabella

My love

Read this

My life's only request

For you're a beautiful reflection

Of a magnificent deep blue ocean

Your blue eyes

Are an emotional sanctuary

In a world of crazy debauchery

For with you by my side

Like my spirit guide in flesh

I must confess

You always make me feel blessed and the world around us

Look so much better

With that incredible light

You possess

Rebirth

 Foundation of the piece.

Even though you rebuild, do ghosts of old relationships, still haunt you?

Title:

Rebirth

(A lone voice whispers)

We left each other

So suddenly

So long ago

For I was too strong not

weak

To turn the other cheek

After you cheated

I've now climbed over life's many hurdles

Manifested by the paranormal

In good old New York

And so I'm glad we parted with weary hearts

And crushed dreams

That caused us so much anxiety

Somewhere so deep

That Morpheus The Greek

Couldn't tempt us

To sleep

For as

Time flew by

Happiness returned

Like a birthday gift from

The Most High

But now

Deep down inside

I still crave silently to weep

And

Cry

Broken each second

Just a little bit more

Tiredness

Creeping up relentlessly

And causing me dark dreams

To cross forbidden thresholds and reopening old

Once closed doors

Left by life with you and its wealth of tragic wars

And all the sad moments

You can never prepare for

But still I'll rise

Like the early morning

Sunrise

No longer

Lost

Looking for something so incredible

That's so irreplaceable

Which I now know is unachievable

So I'll move on

Starting tonight

Like all the other strong women

Knowing

As I pray before

I start a new day

Two wrongs

Can never make it right

The voice of Emilien

The voice of Emilien

(A lone voice whispers)

I once met the King of all Darkness

In France

As we played poker for my soul

In a burnt out house

While Edith Piaf sang

La vie en rose

On a tattered radio

With no power

He carried in his pocket

Causing the watching fireflies to dance

I remember asking the Tall Man where he'd been

He said

Paris

To cause the Germans and the Resistance some pain

And as we played in that falling smoke-filled rain

I cheated and won

The prize

Reaching out through someone after my time has run

After sunrise is over

Summoned by the setting Sun

In darkness

To see if the world still cries

Like it did before me

In 44

So I send this

For we played

Again

Late last night

Old Nick and me

And He won

The prize

Taking me where

The sun don't shine

To be endlessly chastised

So this is my last message

For your eyes

Before the sun rises

Look to the East

The low drumbeats

Of World War Three are starting to beat

For many

There will be pain like

Oradour-sur-Glane

Something so evil

You should all remember

Who and what you do

In whoever's name

Or you could be playing poker with the Tall Man

As Edith Piafr sings

La vie en rose

On his tattered radio

As The East and NATO

Trade nukes

Compelled to do so

By the prodding of the Tall Man and the curse

Of the male ego

Goodbye
