Do you belong to me

Press play and let the music wash over you as you read.
Salute.

If I had the keys to the doorways of your mind
Would I help to heal  what I would find

Would it be endless drama and traumas
Or embers of hopes and dreams
As your inner realms screams

If I had the keys to the doorways of your mind
Would you trust me to heal what I would find

The signs and symbols
Unspoken or unsigned

Would my love for you
Still stay strong and aligned

Standing upright in straight blue lines
To help you climb out of deep pools
Of darkness and lies

If I had the keys to the doorways of your mind
Would I be enough for what I would find

To still love your grind
To walk with you
Until we cross the red finish line

Will all that pressure bring me down
Or would I walk on

To find
That beloved place inside

Just for you and I
Until the day I die

If I had the keys to the doorways of your mind
Would I like what I would find

If I had the keys to the doorways of your mind

In time
Would you just love me

Like you were preordained
To just be mine
