The Invocation of Longing

Press play and let the music wash over you as you read.
salute.

It's not just your body I Need
I'm just a human and full of Greed

I just need your mind to nourish and Feed
Will you slow dance with me
Under the Yellow and
The Green

Will you hold me really tight
As we escape to new realms of pleasure
Unseen

My second eyes

A gift from my beloved mother
Took me away to the
Deep South.

To good old Little Rock

There
I saw a beautiful
Mistress of the Written Word.

That Queen
I always wander to
Just always see.

Just a forbidden temptation
I cannot resist.

A never-ending thirst
That resides
And burns so deep
Inside.

Just below
The velvety contours
Of my soft lips.

I’m always
Thinking to myself.

Shall I satisfy that yearning
For which her eternal soul
Perpetually
Cries.

Pin her down to that four-poster
Bed
And devour her spirit.

Drink deeply from her soul
From now
Until sunrise.

To burn away
All those painful
Memories she still keeps
Filled with so many sweetly spoken lies.

Cover her
So inviting
Dark eyes
With my strong hands.

Show her a new realm
Where she has always belonged

Shall I slowly
Caress her soft hair.

Translate the outline
Of her sleeping form
As she quivers and
Unconsciously
Whispers.

Those hidden words
Of a wild uncontrollable
Ancient love
Song.

But still, I just stand alone
Forever waiting
As she restlessly
Sleeps.

That Queen
I always wander to
Just always see.

Just a forbidden temptation
I cannot resist.

A never-ending thirst
That resides
And burns so deep
Inside.

Just below
The velvety contours
Of my soft lips.

Tonight
I
Go deep into
That Eternal well

Just to stand waiting
For you to eventually
Fall asleep
