Vida Calls

Press play and let the emotional music wash over you as you read. Salute.

(A lone voice whispers)

I dreamt of an extraordinary golden portal

Of entering

A strange shimmering  doorway

With its twinkling boundaries

Covered in sparkling black and green diamonds

And streaked grey marble

To reappear

In a dark wood

To this day

I've never seen

And a striking lady

Dressed from head to toe in white

With a vivid red headdress

Appeared like a beautiful dark-haired siren

In the middle of that total solitude

Announcing her presence

With the accompanying moonlight

She stood proudly

Emanating a sense of freedom from involuntary servitude

With luscious inviting red lips and mesmerising blue eyes

And within that

Woodland glade

As she stood proudly

Surrounded by a bright silver and opaque light

Amongst the watching audience's of hidden nightingales

Other mesmerised men and women

Summoned just like me

Visitors from through strange portals

Crows and other mysterious creatures

Awaiting her rather exciting tales

She spoke

With such a strength in her voice that declared openly

With a sense of supernatural confidence and clarity

That would never fail

As her eyes looked around

Their stunning blueness highlighted by her white as winters cloak

I once knew you all

Gathered here in another lifetime

From centuries past

So long

Long ago

When you once sacrificed

All you had

When you remembered

You were once mine

Would you now in 2021

Still stand bravely beside me

And sing our eternal song of freedom

For all to hear who come

Beyond all of your new life's consequences or hate crimes

And shamelessly share with me and all others

All your hidden emotions

From the beating treasure chest

Of your innermost desires

Carried and represented like silver nickels and endless dimes

Before your own

Great Golden Bell chimes

To still embrace me

In here

Your Goddess

With a repeated oath to acquiesce

Like you once made

With your last visit

To my secret Astral Woodland Shrine

Many years ago in nineteenth sixty-nine

Will you remember

You were previously anointed in one of my Secretive Temples of Appollo

By one of my bloodlines

As she spoke

Just before I awoke

She looked at me and all the others

Seeming straight in the eyes

All at once

And we exchanged these lasting words of farewell

Telepathically in that surreal swirling flux

With the ringing of this

My golden invocation bell

I now cast a new spell

As this Frankincense rises

To usher in a New Age

Through the use of this ancient well

Of life-changing knowledge

She pointed to a small waterfall with her jewel-encrusted Athame

For you all to drink from

Until you're sated

As you then all walk back home

From whence you came

And then begin to turn The Great Books many unread pages

For now together and evermore

We stand

Soul to soul and

Hand in hand

As before

Everywhere and anywhere you may choose to go

Never to wander alone

Neglected

Never again to be dethroned or

Flagellated

In the envious green eyes of every nation

As we stride towards this Great Old Oak Tree

Nearby

To our preordained sanctuary

To sit amongst the ever-present bluebells

And white, pink, red, and blue daisies

By its Holy Sea

For all the watching

Angels and spirits

To our reunion

See

Risking spiritual utlegation and all outward tales of temptation

For what will be

Will have to be

So mote it be

What says you

Will you still follow

This eternal oracle of Apollo

Like in your past lives

When I blessed and swallowed all your pain and sorrows

Me

A Goddess who sings from beyond the many golden portals

From a place where visitors souls could be slowly hollowed

As they are forever captured and collared

Like a new slave of the Great Reset

Or shall I cancel this dream for the another

One you would rather all forget

Then like a Sorceress in the night

She suddenly disappeared and left

Leaving us all

The other people

Creatures and me

Looking around in total astonishment

But unconsciously whispering

Yes
