I have seduced many within my reach
Walked into so many tear-filled bedrooms
I’ve lost count as I began to teach
I’ve took and ruined
So many untainted virgins to then throw themselves against
My many green altars
After they have been baptised by charlatans
Underneath my Cherry Moon
I have also known you
Yes even you
If you dare to look deep
My silent reader
Do you recognise me yet
A God who has once held your hands before
One who introduced you to restless nights
Anxiety and parched lips
Silent screams of despair
Uttered oaths of sweet revenge
Who am I you may still wonder
Phthonos
A strange name to most
Just Google it and I bet I have once been your friend
Maybe I’ll return to keep you company before the very end
Maybe we can plot revenge at all those you deem
No longer a lover or friend
