Falling in Love

(A lone voice whispers)

Falling in love

A journey of

Delirium and Desolation

Started usually with

Ecstasy and Extreme Happiness

Tied and held tightly together

Forever

With a devilish purple bow

Of humanities addiction

To physiological madness

Foundation of the piece.

The two D's represents heartbreak, divorce, grief.

Been cheated on. And so much more.

The two E's represents the emotional peaks.

The incredible highs. The feelings of being wanted.

Like holding hands in the rain and smiling. And so much more.

If you know, you know.

And the Purple Bow represents how you can't have one or two, without the others.

Just in different forms.

Like sisters and brothers.

You may have never experienced the two D's, lived a perfect life with the two E's.

But the D's can suddenly appear when you least expect it. (Grief)

For Death is like a lover too.

For he's courted and coveted you all your life, just waiting for a chance to dance,

The Last Dance.

For he's just in love, too.

The D's and E's.

An all-consuming addiction

For those interested

Entwined like green ivy

 Around Huzuni

A grey metaphorical tree

Those in Swahili

Call Sadness.
