Romeo's Tale

Press play and let the music wash over you as you read.
Salute.

I can still see our movie
I can no longer pretend

It may be over
It’s maybe come to a
Sudden end

But I still thank you
For all those treasured moments
Of happiness and even all the pain

For the beautiful memories
Of walking with you
In the early morning
Falling rain

You once took my
Hand working hands
And you loved me
From that very second and
Each and every day

The sweet whispers
Of those memories and your
Seductive perfume

Still echoes and
Always remain

I always see you
Just watching hidden in here
Behind this great invisible grey veil

In the street
Bars and in your home
And everywhere you
Go

Oh God
Why must
I always
Wait

Thinking why did I have
To leave
What did I do wrong
All the what for’s

For
I can still see our movie
I just can no longer
Lie to myself or even
Try to pretend

It may be over
I may have died and came to
A sudden end

But I thank you
For all those subtle moments
Of happiness and even all the pain

For those old memories
Of getting wet
Walking with you
In the falling rain

When
I was once young and foolish
Wild and free

But I still want you
Even from all the way in here
It’s why I’m still restless
Still missing just you

I can still see all our movies
Running on this big old screen
And they all
Still move me

But all I’ve got
Are these raw emotional
Memories
To always return to

Those old dreams
The tears and the
Laughter
Your favourite love songs

They all still own me
Never forget me
Juliette

For
I’ll still be waiting at the edges
Of the River Styx

Stood in a rather familiar place
And weeping
Under Gods gaze

Praying you’ll return
To fill me with so much loving and
A dash of heavens much sought after
Grace

I can still see our movie
Behind these twin orbs
I just can’t pretend

It may be over
It’s probably
Come to an end

As you move on
But I’ll always wait

As God says
It’s never too late
To repent

I just always pray
My love
Will eventually return
As though it never ended

To tell me
It isn’t over
And we’ll start again

May our love grow to be
Be immortal

In a serene place
Where I’ve still got you

For in all these dark crimson

Monarch Dreams

All I can still do
Is just scream
