Lost Love Reborn

Press play and let the music wash over you as you read.
Salute.

You answered so eloquently
as I patiently waited
with bated breath

For my answers to deep-seated questions
once asked in my darkened shaded
Deep sleep

Your messages and memories
are still in my old silver gun

Forever
Loaded

To shoot irreplaceable golden bullets
to help dispel the oncoming darkness

Your once softly whispered wishes
are my alabaster white altar
I kneel nightly to pray upon

What tomorrow holds
As it slowly unfolds or songs are sung
by unseen omnipotent pagan
Old Gods

Who deem themes to be our preordained fates

I will always wait by the Red Churches
wrought iron old gates

Until now
Fairy tales coming true seemed so distant

Like a mythical quest for only Greek heroes

Your heart may have been once broken
as it once lovingly swallowed
loves enchanting red potions

The question I ask is simply
let's stay together in this quiet moment

For lonely souls
 that have walked through loves
red mists
and now lay filled with disappointments

Can once again be reinvigorated
To once more explore knee-deep
into the quagmires of deep uncertainty

Illuminated by the flames of Aphrodisiac’s red fire

And still, take all the risks that may come
Even though others may question
your choices and dark desires

There hidden in those seconds minutes
hours weeks and months and even years

In this opaque respite full of inspired prose
and overwhelming wet invisible tears
Lays an endless red kiss

Does your silkened mind still crave
my thoughts of the divine
If it's answers your indulgent mind
still seeks

Read these poignant words
whenever you are weak
For I can confess with a candid heart

I have always loved you

And with a willing soul until the day
when I eventually disappear
when I grow old

That I desire you know those answers

And perhaps tomorrow will offer in a new reunion
Until then hold me closer
Dream to kiss me and bend me
to your indomitable will

For I think you will find
I am yours and you are mine

As it always has been foretold
in the ancient archive's of time

Just a forgotten old dream
But now re-birthed in this beautiful moment
when you feel broken

For when you hold me really close
When that pulsating heart starts to beat

When you kiss my memories
and poignant prose tenderly
And our glowing soulmate eyes
melt into one

You can once again believe
in self-indulgent fairy-tales
once more

As previously written destined quests
and dreams do come true

As I help to build a new palace
To encourage you to renew

You can forget all those once
held unanswered questions

No longer to search for reasons
alone in the darkness

Since all that resonates to me
In this old delicate work

Is the ability to guide you
 Through mazes of doubts
and fears of previous failures

To
Help you unfurl

In this particular moment
lying here metaphorically with you

I feel like a prince in the arms of a princess
Like a reborn new Jeremiah

Who has new keys to a new eternal
kingdom

That was made and blessed with forgiven
words of redemption
and exquisite love

Baptised and redeemed
By an ancient Greek God from
So high above

Will, you still wait for me

Just inside
The Red Churches
Old wrought iron gates

Time may be passing but I will always wait
