I once heard of a wild woman
From down east Tennessee

Lost somewhere
In the middle of the night
That good old Mephistophelian night

 Who whispers so softly
It was said
So captivatingly
If she only spoke your name

If only but once

No matter what you're drinkin'
No matter what you're thinkin'
What you’re wearin

At the end of that long
Good old
Dark Mephistophelian night

No matter how hard you
Fight

How hard
You look for her
Left or right

If she only speaks your name
No matter what pain
You’re going through

You’ll just be another poor
Tainted soul
She’s just claimed

I once heard of a mystic
When I was younger
Lost in downtown
Tennessee

Lost somewhere
In the middle of the night
That good old Mephistophelian night

 Who whispers so softly
So captivatingly and
If she only speaks your
God-given secretive name

No matter what you're drinkin'
No matter what you're thinkin'

At the end of that dark night
It’ll be your soul
She’ll be wearing

Riding out onto
The Great Cosmic Plains
On her Pale White Horse

For she heralds the
 Age of Cataclysm
I was told

A holy truth
I'm glad I learned

The
 Bringer of a New Dawn
Divine Encounters

The fire and the fury
The Great Cleansing

A new Genesis
Before True Peace and love
Returns

I once heard of a wild woman
From down east Tennessee

Lost somewhere
In the middle of the night
That good old Mephistophelian night

 Who whispers so softly
It was said
So captivatingly
If she only spoke your name

You'll drown
Swirling lost in her souls
Ever-expanding
Universe
