Voices in the Night

(A lone voice whispers)

My only love

May you remember me

As I soar

With a heart that gleams

Like a rare Atlantis diamond

My love

Even though separated

By this Great In-Between

Which for you

Alone in my incredible memories cathedrals

Alabaster halls

I still scream for

I know one glorious day

We'll be together again

For I'll climb all known or unknown mountains

To find you

For a new start

To ask even the highest gods and goddesses

The Elementals of the Universe

Why we were so tragically torn apart

Swim the Black Rivers of Golgotha

Filled with pink shoals of ravenous piranha

To reach the edges of Sheol or Nirvana

Death might have taken me so strongly

Extinguished my lit candle

So wrongly

But Love exists forever

When found

Lives on with delight Into the longest of dark nights

Even if one walks on Heaven's high ground

Or underground in Hell

Or just stuck in-between

By an occult spell

Fate might have led me to stand on these grey ash-filled shores of Death

I may now sing

Poetic lullabies

Lost in The Second Kingdom

To the watching

Gathered in revolving circles

Lost souls

Where

With time

There comes

Judgment then freedom

Molded to rise up to Heaven

So here

O Sacred Muse

I'll wait in your memories gardens

Since

I am yours

A true love story

Standing alone on these

Yellow shores

Waiting by Purgatorio

Black ornate gates

For you to arrive

The only woman I loved

When I was

Once alive
